Authored, co-authored, and edited various policy briefs on tenants’ rights, digital literacy, and small business finance as major platform pieces for the candidate’s campaign site. Mapped out all of the protests, political clubs, community boards, shelters, and small businesses within the district and tracked their activity, notoriety, size, and availability of opportunity. Managed the candidate’s event schedule, coordinated all logistics and remote operations for events, and canvassed numerous in-district neighborhoods to assess best venues. Advised on branding, fundraising, policy, field strategy, social media, and staff buildout, serving as a primary consultant and confidant to both the campaign manager and candidate.

Researched and corresponded with 100+ nonprofits in the NYC metropolitan area to facilitate workshops and partnerships. Restructured and refined a policy brief underscoring the current condition of, barriers to, and recommendations for women’s civic engagement in NYC, launched in June 2021. Brainstormed content and layout for The Hub, an action-based app/website for NYC civic engagement resources. Spearheaded the first drafts of 5-6 external relations projects, including designing a WCC style guide and creating a development strategy for use by both the board and staff. Managed misc. admin tasks, such as the website, email lists, and accounts.

The Progressive Teen (official publication of High School Democrats of America), Remote August 2016-August 2017
Revived the publication upon immediate entrance to the position by creating a board of section editors and increasing article publication frequency from once every three months to four or five articles per week. Interviewed, hired, and subsequently managed a board of three section editors for Features, Opinion, and Analysis as well as a team of approximately 70 student staff writers. Consulted with section editors on a weekly basis to brainstorm article topics for that week.Worked through multiple draft stages and made final copy and formatting edits for every article prior to official publication.
